"My husband and I have just returned home from an absolutely fantastic afternoon’s entertainment at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre – yes the 2006 Police Tattoo. What fabulous entertainers the Police from around the world are.
The organisers of this event have excelled themselves – we have been to each Tattoo and they just keep getting better – we cannot wait until the next one.
You are to be congratulated on having such fine men and women in the South Australian Police Force, they did the Department proud, providing the often much needed ‘human face’ to the Police Force. We would appreciate you passing on our congratulations to the organisers and the band themselves for an absolutely wonderful entertaining show. It certainly made us proud to be Australian, but even better, South Australians."

the most wonderful display...
"I attended the SA Police Tattoo on Saturday evening 6th May, with the Mount Gambier Coach Lines Tour. I and fellow coach people have to congratulate you and all who took part in the most wonderful display we have seen. I have been to many “shows” and your Tattoo was the best. I am still in my mind with the music and displays.
So many from our coach agree we would like to book now for the next Tattoo. How you going to top that I don’t know. We are so proud to know that the Police Force is so diverse – well done.
And yes – I do wave and say Hello to those on duty and always have."

It was magnificent in every way...
"My wife Alison and I attended the 2003 Police Tattoo and believed it was as good as the Edinburgh Tattoo we saw in 1978, however today’s Tattoo equalled or bettered both. It was magnificent in every way, planning, timing, organisation, effects, the bands, actors, horses, dogs etc., we became quite emotional. I think of how much training, practise and time was given to achieve such perfection.
Although I am legally blind, with partial sight in one eye, I use binoculars to give a good picture of the performance. We believe this performance equals anything world wide. Our heart felt thanks to you and your organisers and participants for giving us so much joy and pleasure."
